A joint ESF/ICES/EFARO foresight report entitled:"Science dimensions of Ecosystem Approach to Management of Biotic Ocean Resources" will be published shortly.  The report will address the science necessary to understand the natural, social and governance systems required to apply Integrated
Management within an Ecosystem Approach to achieve Good Environmental Status (GES), as required by the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) in the European Union.
